Since 1951, Wear Howell has served as a trusted business partner to clients throughout North Alabama,

We believe this to be a direct byproduct of our talent and responsiveness to our client base.

Timeline

  • 1951
    Frank C. Holle established the firm.
  • 1966
    B. Ford Wear, Jr. and Joe P. Howell were admitted as partners, and the firm was renamed Holle, Wear & Howell.
  • 1980
    Irvin R. Strickland was admitted as a partner, and the firm was renamed Wear, Howell & Strickland in June of that year.
  • 1991
    Kent Quinn was admitted as a partner, and the firm was renamed Wear, Howell, Strickland & Quinn in May of that year.
  • 1998
    Anthony Law was admitted as a partner, and the firm was renamed Wear, Howell, Strickland, Quinn & Law in June of that year.
  • 2003
    Joseph Wynn joined the firm as a partner in December.
  • 2006
    Lynn Reeves was admitted as a partner in October.
  • 2016
    Steven Strickland and Shana Wigley were admitted as partners in October.
  • 2017

    We opened a second office in Hartselle, Alabama.
